Creative Post Week 1/20-1/26
Week 2 Reflection: This semester I plan to combine small drawings and music improvisations as practices for my blog. I will use photos of the artwork and audio recordings to present these experiences. I chose the theme of “Clarity”, and I hope that I can use this practice to get in tune with my emotions every week. I also want to see how I can express myself using these art forms since it’s not something I have done in the past. I rarely improvise or doodle something without a reference so I know this will be a challenge, but I am excited to try it out. This week I found it hard to pick up my violin and improvise a short tune so instead I tried drawing on my iPad which I’ve never done. I didn’t have any idea what I wanted to draw so it took some time to get started but eventually I ended up with a slightly broken flowerpot and some small flowers. At the end, I added a layer of gray slightly hiding the image to represent how this week I felt uncertain and "cloudy" about man...
